What's a Podcast?

Podcasting is the future of media distribution.  It
is the delivery of audio and video content world-wide over the internet using an RSS feed for listening and viewing on mobile devices and personal computers.  Users can subscribe to a podcast "feed", which automatically notifies them when new episodes are available for downloading.  Subscribers can then view episodes on their PC using  podcast-ready software like iTunes or they can transfer episodes to mobile devices like cell phones, PDAs, iPods, or PlayStation Portable units, and view their favorite shows wherever they want, whenever they want.

Why use a Podcast?

A podcast makes it easier for our family and friends to know about and download new videos.  The RSS feed will automatically alert you when new videos are available for download.   Our podcast currently has over 70 clips and several hours of family friendly content.
